Farm rental agreement, Haines Township, Centre County, Pa., 1839.

This manuscript agreement, 12 October 1839, between Adam Grape, trustee for the children of Jacob Fisher of Haines Township, Centre County, Pa. and neighboring farmers, Frederick Mockel of Walker Township and William Strunk of Haines Township, sets terms of payment for renting the farm for three years, including providing specific agricultural services for the widow of Jacob Fisher. The verso is docketed "March 28, 1843, rec'd. on the within note $281.95."
